Gary Allen Gochanour

Gary Allen Gochanour, 78, of Dawson, IL passed away on Sunday June 13, 2021 at his home in the company of his family.

Gary was born in Sherman, IL on February 7, 1943 the son of Charles and Lorraine (Keown) Gochanour. Gary was preceded in death by his parents and his 2 brothers, Louis and Kurt.

He is survived by his wife, Marie (Lane) Gochanour; sons, Charles (Vickie) Gochanour, and George (Linda) Gochanour; daughters, Ruth (David) Miller, Janet (Brian) Cooper, and Connie (Patrick) Churchill; as well as 9 grandchildren, and 12 great grandchildren.

For his service in the United States Navy, Gary will be buried at Camp Butler National Cemetery on Friday June 18, 2021 at 10:00am. Anyone wishing to attend the burial can meet at Ellinger-Kunz and Park Funeral Home, 530 North 5th St. Springfield, IL at 9:15am to go to the cemetery where military honors will be observed.
