Deidre A (Gleason) Beaton

Deidre A Beaton, 72 of Plainfield, IL passed away at Edwards Hospital, Naperville on Thursday, March 18, 2021.

Deidre was born in Chicago, IL, on April 26, 1948 the daughter of Donald and LeVerne (Osterkamp) Gleason.

She was preceded in death by her parents, as well as her brother, Donald J (Donna) Gleason Jr, and her nephew, Darin (Becky) Gleason and granddaughter, Kathy Wilinski.

Deidre is survived by her husband, James Lillie of Plainfield, IL; beloved niece, Lori (Chuck) Campbell; great nephew(s), Brandon Campbell, Hunter Gleason; and great niece, Reese Gleason. Step-Mom to Wanda (Steve) Wilinski, Vickie (Rob) Lee, Jennifer (Jim)Jenson. She was Grandma Dee to 9 grandkids and 4 great grandkids.

Deirdre was so proud of her family and was very passionate about animals, especially her dogs.

Visitation for Deidre will be held on Wednesday March 24, 2021 at Ellinger-Kunz and Park Funeral Home, 530 North 5th St. Springfield, IL 62702 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. The funeral ceremony will be held on Thursday March 25 at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home and will be going to Roselawn Memorial Park for burial.

A Memorial Service will be held at Redeemer Lutheran Church, 4955 158th St, Oak Forrest, IL 60452 on April 10th, 2021 at 11:00 a.m.

The funeral home will be following all IDPH and CDC recommendations/ guidelines and all guest are asked to wear a face -covering when entering the building and greeting the family.
