Pamela J. Richards

Pamela J. Richards (Henson), 64, of Springfield IL, passed away surrounded by her family on Saturday November 16, 2019. 

Pamela was born on August 1, 1955 the daughter of Milton Henson and Barbara (Eckler) Henson-Crawford. Pamela’s Step Father was William Crawford.  

She loved the Chicago Cubs and the Bears. 

She also enjoyed baking and cooking for her family. Pamela specialized in making Christmas special for her entire family. Christmas was her favorite holiday. Around the holidays, she could be seen baking cookies and making sure that no one in her family went without. 

Pamela worked as a unit clerk at Memorial Medical Center for over 30 year.  

She was preceded in death by her father, Milton Reed Henson Sr.; mother and step-father Barbara Crawford and William Crawford; and her grandfather, Arthur Eckler. 

Pamela is survived by her children, Michael Henson (wife, Robin), Melissa Skon (husband, Chris), and Matthew Richards (wife, Linnea); husband, David Richards; grandchildren, Danielle Roan (husband, Zac), and Aubrey Henson; great-grandchild, Zander Roan; siblings, Cathy, Robert, Milton (Mickey), Tracy, Sandra; as well as nieces, nephews, and many friends.
