Jennifer M. McConnell

Our angel, Jennifer passed from this life on Sunday September 1, 2019 at 4:37am after a brief illness.

Born on December 29, 1981 in Sault Ste. Marie, MI, Jenny is the daughter of Timothy and Barbara McConnell and big sister to Melissa (Mike) McConnell Adams and brother, Michael McConnell. She has 6 nephews- Jonathan, Joey, Michael, Kevin, Sean, and Alexander and two nieces- Sonya and Emily. She is “mom” to her Shar Pei dogs- Kane and Dory. Jenny enjoyed ice skating when she was younger, moving on to be a talented professional photographer for several years. She was a talented cook and baker.

She is preceded in death her parental grandparents, Franks and Judith (Bosley) McConnell, James and Julia (Johnson) Ramsey, an uncle, Terry McConnell, and an aunt, Eileen (Ramsey) Rocho.

Jen blessed three families with the gift of life by donating her organs. To honor her organ donation, there will be a flag raising on the north lawn of St. John’s Hospital on Saturday September 7th at 1:00pm. There will be a memorial celebration of life at Springfield First United Methodist Church at the corner of Wabash Ave and Koke Mill Rd. on Saturday September 14th at 1:00pm.
