Carlos Delao

Carlos Delao, 47, of Springfield, passed away on Wednesday, May 9, 2018 at St. Louis University Hospital in St. Louis.

Carlos was born on January 31, 1971 in Riverside, CA the son of Ramon and Wilma Parrish Delao. He married Jessica Perkinton and have been together for 22 years. 

He worked as a cook for Charlie Parker’s and was a member of Real Life Church. He loved every moment he spent with his daughter and enjoyed fishing with his sons. He also enjoyed spending time at home with his family and was an avid Kansas City Chiefs fan.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Wilma Parrish Delao; and brother, Ramon Delao Jr.

He is survived by his wife, Jessica Delao; children, Isaiah Carlos (companion, Moriah), Gabriel Augustine, Javier Tomas, Vanessa Olivia and Carlos Pena; granddaughter, Kaelynn Grace; father, Ramon Delao; siblings, Olivia Villalobos, Rita Delao, Adaline Delao, Sophia Williams, Linda Delao, Madaline Fornelli, Mary Delao and Santiago Delao; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 12:00 noon on Wednesday, May 16, 2018 at Ellinger-Kunz & Park Funeral Home with Reverend Clint Cook officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Ridge Cemetery.
