Michael "Mike" E. Dunn, 53, of Springfield, passed away at 10:42 a.m. on Friday, July 15, 2016 at Memorial Medical Center.

Mike was born on August 3, 1962 in Springfield, the son of George H. Dunn Sr. and Betty L. (Cruse) Dunn.

Mike worked for his dad and Dave Spann as a carpet installer for most of his life. Mike enjoyed drinking beer and watching Nascar.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and one brother, David W. Dunn.

He is survived by two brothers, George H. (wife, Debbie) Dunn Jr. and Robert "Bob" (wife, Stacey) Dunn both of Springfield; one sister, Letisha "Dee Dee"(companion, Ray Geist) Dunn of Springfield; one niece, Andrea (companion, Adam Geist) Dunn and her two children, Kristopher and Henry Geist who were very close to Mike and had lived with him for many years; and several other nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 23, 2016 at Roselawn Memorial Park.
