Maribeth (Fairchild) Klaman, 73, of Springfield, passed away on Tuesday, February 21, 2017 at Memorial Medical center, surrounded by her family.

Maribeth was born on May 25, 1943 in Normal the daughter of Ross and Elizabeth Cordis Fairchild.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and one great-grandson.

She is survived by four children, Dynell Gaule, Michael (Heather) Gaule, Mitsy (John) Mellor and Brett Gaule; three siblings, Roger (Linda) Fairchild, John Fairchild, Phyllis Colgan; eleven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and her long-time friend and companion, Joe Mudd.

Cremation was accorded.  Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. until the time of the memorial service at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 25, 2017 at Wilson Park Funeral Home in Rochester with Reverend Larry Hanson officiating.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the American Lung Association.
